The Fairfax Independent is published by The Independent News Press started in the City of Fairfax, Virginia and centrally located in Northern Virginia. We publish daily online with new and curated content by our guest writers and staff along with our Editorial Board. Our 32-pages monthly print circulation will start in the fall of 2024.
Our direct mail monthly print circulation will be going to 15,000 City homes and businesses and 5,000 additional pieces will be distributed at various pickup locations throughout the City. We offer digital and print ad placements.
About The City of Fairfax:
Located in the suburbs of an expanded Washington DC metro region, the City of Fairfax is centrally nestled in the middle of Fairfax County making it the crossroads of Northern Virginia. City residents enjoy a quality of life that resembles a small-town community feel with a world-class metropolitan experience.
Between 2021 and 2022 the population of Fairfax City grew from 23,980 to 24,242, a 1.09% increase and its median household income grew from $118,492 to $128,708, an 8.62% increase.
